This hymn in Danish by B.S. Ingemann 1850 is one of my favourite songs to sing at Christmas, and funerals.
It speaks about the Soul Song of the Pilgrim and how the sound of Heaven resonates in this Song.
The recording of it was pretty spontaneous and sparked by my mum having a dream that I recorded a Christmas song for her as a gift. Usually what my mum dreams come true.
And this was manifested with great speed, within a week in fact.
Although we did record it in December with a lot of Holiday Season spirit in there, you can enjoy it any time of year.
